![]() ![]() A lot of players regard this version of Kiryu the most OP of all and for good reason. I mean once I finished the bouncer missions all I would do after that was go taunt, extreme heat mode, taunt and so on. As when Kiryu reaches the peak of his capabilities in this game he becomes OPAF. Although it has the same shitty character development system, which in fact is even more convoluted than in Y6, at least it doesn't feel like a fucking waste of time. But in the end there is one thing that gives this game the edge over Y6. Oh yes, they will change their stats but it will have no effect in practice as the clients will still react to them based on their default values. It's not as lazy as it, but it suffers from several bugs, like the one where the hostesses accessories don't effect their performance. Oh how I "umme'd" oh how I "hmme'd" while deciding if this game is better than Y6. However, it is ironically the first game in the series which finally realised that running from a fight is also an option. Which was a really stupid idea as it wasn't even worth the effort. Everything in this game is pretty lazy, the only noteworthy thing about it is the new character development system. Also I guess I like this game better than the previous due to the fact it's pretty short, so it must be a case of shorter torture to me.Ī game that was created for the sole purpose of giving it's main character the boot. ![]() Actually does this game have a story? Well anyway, Sega's attempt to keep things fresh by introducing new playable characters paid off. the hunting gig.Ī very lazy game, which is easy to notice by how short the story is. However, unlike the previous entry it did have 1 redeeming minigame that I enjoyed i.e. The game is longer than most, it's the one I played the longest after Y0 and LAD, but just because you make me eat a lot of rotten food doesn't mean you will get a good yelp review based on quantity alone. I speak no hyperbole when I say that there was no point while playing it that I was enjoying myself.Īn example of Segas return to their comfort zone of bad decisions and masturbation, right after picking themselves back up. It's not the kind of bad that makes a game unplayable, nor is it a shitty game which you can play for a laugh, it's just annoyingly bad. The game is so bad that it just goes off my scale. Some people say it's the most difficult one, but painfully prolonged fights are not actually difficult but annoying. So without further ado:Ī classic case of a franchise derailing itself. Note that I obtained all platinum achievements for them so I have dug deep into them, more so than most of them deserve, so I know what I'm talking about. So now that I have played all 8 games, it's time I put them in order from worst to best. ![]()
